Latvian NGO engaged in waste management is looking for alternative landfill daily cover material that could be placed or spread on the surface of the solid waste disposal cell active area. The organization is looking for companies that can offer biodegradable or alternative daily cover (ADC) material which can be useful at waste disposal sites in Latvia.
The company is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance.

| Description: |
Anaerobic fermentation in landfills creates greenhouse gases and attracts flies and vermin disseminating infestation in wide area. The requested ADC should control disease vectors, prevent birds from scavenging and dissemination of infestation by flies and vermin. The ADC should also shed surface from water and minimize contamination of runoff. The material will be used for covering of disposal cells were the main component is bio waste. After fulfilling the disposal cell is covered and biogas is collected.
The organization is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The organization is looking for ADCs that are with low permeability and are appropriate for anaerobic fermentation in landfills. The requirements for the technology: 1) useful for inclined surface; 2) save void space; 3) biodegradable and not hazardous to anaerobic process bacteria. The solution should also be non-flammable and have odor control.
