A Dutch company is seeking a spraying technology that enables to create large, seamless products made of a thin, 1 to 5 mm thickness, layer of thermoplastic materials, like (high density) polyethylene. The size specification limits the use of roto molding or blow molding, hence the search is aimed at a spraying technology, using a steel sheet mandrel. The Dutch company is interested in a joint development project or a commercial agreements with technical assistance.

| Description: |
The Dutch company is looking for a technology that enables to create a large, seamless product, made from a thermoplastic material, like (high density) polyethylene. The size specification and thickness of the plastic layer, limits the use of roto moulding or blow moulding. Hence the Dutch partner is looking for a spraying technology, which also will give maximum freedom in thickness and shape variation. The idea is to make a steel mandrel onto which the plastic is sprayed. After this the mandrel is removed and the created plastic part is ready for further processing.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The product’s thickness is between 1mm and 5mm, and the required processing speed of the spray system should at least reach 100 kg per hour. Furthermore the mechanical properties of the plastic after spraying should be predictable, repeatable and sufficient for our requirements, combined with a nice and smooth surface finish (similar to good stainless steel finish).
